My Situation is 498A FIR filled in Jan 2019 and charge sheet is not yet filled. I approached high court for FIR quashing and got families name removed.
DV is at hearing stage and 125 is at counselling stage. My question is should i mention criminal proceeding pending while filling the passport renewal application.
I will really appreciate your help on this.

Please see the exact wording in the renewal application, whether it is “criminal proceedings “ or “criminal complaint “
If it is criminal proceedings, then it can be NO as charge sheet is not yet filed and court case number is not allotted. Criminal proceedings stage is that stage where CS is filed and case is numbered.
It it is criminal complaint, then it has to be YES.
