Anyone successful in getting US citizenship with pending 498A and 406? My quash petition was pending from Jan 2014 in Ap Highcourt. I'm in confusion whether to apply or wait until quashed which I never know.

Any suggestions or help is really appreciated.

One person I know personally, got it recently.

I too would appreciate any help/pointers in what documentation to provide to obtain US citizenship with pending 498a and 406. The immigration lawyer whom I spoke with said that the officer may not dig deep into the circumstances of why/how/when the false complaint was filed. Given that there's an equivalence of IPC 406 in the US, the officer may not be inclined to approve the application. So, if folks have been able to obtain citizenship even with these sections in the chargesheet, I'd be curious to know what documentation was provided that helped with the approval.
