Hi, I could not understand the difference between Special and Hindu Marriage act? which is better?
Can marriage be only registered (and solemnized together) and not solemnized (first and then registered)?
498a can be avoided, right but what can be written on Marriage certificate to atleast show that nothing was exchanged and no expenses on incurred on marriage function ? As girl can always say that it was big fat marriage.
Can Dowry prohibition be involved in both Special and Hindu Marriage act?
I have heard few cases where in "arya samaj" marriage, the girl has claimed that huge money was spent. So why not better have a marriage function at all, if possible and just go marriage registration.
Court marriage seem to solve all above queries but it is too demanding/lengthy in terms of processes and procedures.
Please suggest!

The marriage is treated as Hindu marriage when both bride and groom are Hindus and marriage performed as per the hindu customs and rites whereas when bride and groom belong to two different religion it is called special martiage.
