While discussing with ma friend yesterday, he told me about ABC/Arguments on charges.

Definition(As read in Internet):
"The argument on the charges is an opportunity for the defense to marshal the significant facts in a logical fashion that makes sense and leads to one conclusion, a defense verdict. The argument on the charges may be the most effective piece of advocacy during a trial and, as such, should be delivered in a calm, logical manner that brings the Magistrate to your side."

Please share some light on this so that it will help the larger crowd, as we all know that the charges on us are false n also we have evidences to prove the same. Having said that we are not able to escape the hardship of long trial. Kindly let us know.
1. How can we use this as a tool?
2. Necessary Preparations?
3. Documentations if any?
4. Wat are all the Evidences/Documents/Proofs we can use in our defense?
5. Any other important things?
6. Usually wat Happens in the "CHARGING" Stage?

@Shonee Kapoorji, Welwisher, Gal Bhai, Rahul, Atur, Neeraj Kaushik........plz enlighten us.

Thank you all in Advance

@seniors, aturchatur, shoneek, wellwisher, rsaxena, raina & others
i want to add & ask couple more point.

since it's a 498a being discussed where is no concept of written statement so can we prepare the arguments the same way one prepares for civil cases or 125 CrPC or DV Cases.

(1) If written argument is preferred by us , then is there a provision ?
(2) Is there any harm if the written argument is prepared citing many judgments as WA in other cases is prepared strongly.

@rvega, kindly pour your knowledge at the forum itself so all of us get enlightenment thru you. thanks
