The Power of Attorney provided by Embassy of Ethiopia is in English or Amharic language. The agent must take the power of attorney to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia for authentication and to the documents authentication and registration office for registration before presenting it to the concerned body.
The process of Power of Attorney is different for foreigners and the Ethiopians. If you wish to apply with Ethiopian Embassy Consular then process as follow:

2. Power of attorney statement detailing the specific authorities the applicant wishes to delegate to the agent and signed in front of the relevant or to be signed in front of the consular head at the Embassy.
3. Certified copy of the driving license and either certified copy of valid Ethiopian Passport or Ethiopian origin ID card.
4. A prepaid, self-addressed, trackable and registered envelope for the return of the Document. Keep the tracking number and track online to follow up on your application.
5. Pay service fees in cash at the Embassy of Ethiopia, or by Australian Post Money Order or International Bank Cheque (Australia Post Money Orders and Bank Cheques must be payable to the “Ethiopian Embassy”).
