- Can an unemployed husband liable to for maintenance of his wife?
- Husband salary is Rs.15000/- PM with father and mother who is dependent on him. How can maintenance will be calculated.
- If company husband fired husband due to the case and became unemployed and depend on other people for expanses, in this situation too husband liable to pay. if wife is not illiterate and not working.

- In this case if Husband will not accept court condition what will be consequences.
- If husband will jail what could be happen in jail... Police will beat or hares me. or Husband will get Rs.1500/- without working every month (This is good option .... Really I liked it, if true)

If the court say you need to pay, you better apeal and fight it. Do not default on court order. I feel in most instences maintenance case will be followed with 498a/dv etc. So this is not going to be an end. If you default then it will project as if you are not law abiding and it will go aginst you. Try to be truthfull as possible and fight hard there is numerous judgements which have said no maintenance if husband unemployed. Go through this forum and you will find lot of material here. Hope this will help.
