On Nov 8th 2016 all 5 members acquitted from 498A and DP act 3 &4.
Now need to fight on DV.
I will wait for appeal summons if not received planning to file on defamation.
have few questions on this
1.how long we need to wait to get summons in case of appeal of opp party? 2.Anyone filed civil defamation?does anyone had luck?
Also For DV any judgements do we have in case of 498A acquittal DV also not valid

Appeal period is 90 days. But generally Police or PP will not go for appeal.
You can file defamation cases but it runs 5 to 6 yrs and ends with 10,000 as fine.
DV can still run and you need to have patience. 498a and DV are both different.

If acquitted in 498a on trial, dv can be quashed if the grounds of both are the same. There is a A.P. H.C. Judgment on this and it was circulated by the H.C. to all subordinate courts in A.P. and Telangana. Judgment was by judge DURGA Prasad rao. U can search for it. Wait for the 90 days appeal period.

Hi Rajendra, Instead of defamation, I would suggest that you focus your energies on getting a divorce. Rgds
